Made up of 72 clubs spanning England and Wales, The EFL is a pillar of the footballing landscape we call home. Yet, here at zicoball, we believe The EFL’s coverage still doesn’t quite get the respect it deserves, fighting to be heard as the Premier League’s shadow threatens to eclipse.

That is changing, though. The near-one billion-pound TV rights deal chalked up between The EFL and Sky Sports is a major step in the right direction. A direction we’ll be tailing every step of the way.

Whether it be down in Plymouth amongst the rolling green hills of Devon or visiting Carlisle up North on the Scottish border, we want to know about it. After all, this is a country where third-division teams average just shy of 20k attendances over the course of the season.

This is a pyramid where two relative minnows sell out playoff spectacles at Wembley. It’s special. This is The EFL.
